Twitter, Facebook and LJ all experiencing problems
So what did I do through all this? Take an extra long nap with my kitties!
Well, our great friends Jim & Elizabeth came over. It was Jim's birthday and mine is on the 24th, so we had a joint celebration. We gave him and mix and max six pack of imported beers that we got from Total Wine and More. They actually got me two presents:
One
present is this nice little cosmetic bag. Those things are always
handy where you use a lot of cosmetics or not. I like using them to
separate crafts items, to store doll clothes in, etc.
They also got me this lovely light
switch cover with Tink on it. Richard has already put this up in our
hallway. I really love it.
Well, we went to see Harry Potter & the Half-blood Prince. One thing I learned was that you shouldn't read the book again the week you see the movie. All you will do is see what's been changed or left out. Still and all, I enjoyed it, esp. I enjoyed hearing Jim laugh at the funny parts (usually involving Ron Weasley). Jim's laugh is quite amusing in itself. It was nice to have an combined celebration with our lovely friends. I hope everyone else had a great weekend too.
